Returns, Refunds and Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal after receiving their order, except where a legal exception applies. Goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly, such as fresh baklava or other fresh sweets with a short shelf life, may be excluded from this right. A product is not excluded merely because it is a sweet or food item. This does not affect your rights if a product is damaged, defective, or not as described.

How to contact us about a return

Returns are not processed automatically. To help us identify your order and provide return instructions, email support@konigmarkt.de with your name, order number, and the item you wish to return. You may tell us the reason, but you do not need to give a reason to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal. You do not need to wait for our approval to exercise that right.

Do not send goods to an address other than the return address stated below. Please keep proof that you sent your return.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason, unless a legal exception applies.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, takes possession of the goods. If goods from one order are delivered separately, the period begins when you receive the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement. You may email support@konigmarkt.de, write to the address below, or use the electronic withdrawal option provided on our store. You may use the model withdrawal form at the end of this policy, but it is not required. It is sufficient to send your withdrawal statement before the withdrawal period expires.

Returning goods after withdrawal

You must send or hand over the goods without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after informing us of your withdrawal, to:

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we agree otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise. We do not automatically provide a prepaid return shipping label.

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods only if it results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Original packaging, tags, or a receipt are not conditions for exercising your statutory right of withdrawal, although including your order number helps us identify the order.

Effects of withdrawal and refunds

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. We will not reimburse additional costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery option.

We will reimburse you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal statement, using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

Exceptions

The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly, including fresh food with a short shelf life. Other statutory exceptions may apply, such as clearly personalised goods or sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons after their seal has been removed following delivery. We assess exceptions according to applicable law; discounted items are not excluded merely because they were on sale.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items

If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact support@konigmarkt.de with your order number and a description of the issue. Photos may help us resolve it faster. Your statutory rights regarding faulty or non-conforming goods remain unaffected by the withdrawal exceptions above.
